HCBS & DDD Services

Odyssey Services Corp provides a range of Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) and Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) services. These include Day Treatment Programs, Transition to Employment, Respite, Habilitation, Attendant Care, Employment Support Aide, Individual and Group Supported Employment, Behavioral Support, and Transportation services. These services aim to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence and quality of life.

  • Transition To Employment (TTE) is a 40 hour per week instructional course focusing on skills one learns to use in employment, as well as daily life.

    Classes are limited to four persons to yield instructor/client interaction and individualized instruction.

  • Services include:

    • Assist member in finding and obtaining a job

    • Direct supports to enable the member to develop positive work habits

    • Teaching positive attitudes, skills, and work etiquette

    • Work-hardening skills

    • Interviewing skills

    • Job coaching

    • Interventions with work

  • Services include:

    • 1:1 service

    • Supports to the client to retain his/her employment

    • Personal care services

    • Behavioral supports

    • Follow-along supports needed to maintain stable employment

    • Support depending on member needs and service setting

    • On-the-job follow-along supports for members in community employment

  • To provide a variety of interventions designed to maximize the functioning of members.

    Services include:

    • Special development skills

    • Behavioral intervention

    • Sensorimotor development

    • Measurable outcomes

    • Provide therapy supervision

    • Teaching strategies

    • Person-centered plans

    • Community-based activities

    • Recreational activities

  • Services include:

    • Short-term care and supervision of member in and out of home

    • Relief to the family member

    • Routine plan of care

    • Social, emotional, and physical needs

    • Medications given

    • First aid and attention to injury and illness

    • Appropriate nutritional support

    • Therapeutic diets

    • Transportation

  • Services include:

    • Assistance with bathing

    • Hygiene

    • Toileting

    • Dressing

    • Ambulation

    • Transfers

    • Assistance with shopping

    • Medications

  • This group service provides consumers with an on-site supervised work environment in a community employment setting.

    • Group Supported Employment is provided in an integrated community work setting

    • To promote community integration with other members of the workforce and provide paid work

    • Provides members the opportunity to work in an environment that allows for maximum interaction among diverse populations

    • Helps members maintain positive work habits, attitudes, skills, and work etiquette directly related to their specific employment

    • Provides each member with ongoing training and onsite supervision

    The goal of the service is to promote community integration with other members of the workforce and provide a paid work experience. Such settings may include: a community business or qualified vendor-owned/rented facilities that are used primarily to serve the public and employ members (e.g. retail stores, restaurants, etc.).

  • Providing transportation for members that are receiving employment-related services to and from the job.

    • Pickup and drop off members at the job site*

    • Provides transportation for members without natural supports

    • Assist in helping members maintain employment by arriving on time

    • Transportation provided by individuals with a clean driving history, valid driver’s license, current vehicle registration, and who meet AZ vehicle insurance requirements

    *Transportation to and from work may be available to members receiving Employment Supports and Services, when such transportation is not available from community resources or natural supports.
